AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06

Indoor: Placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 11.58 meters during BU[apos]s tri-meet against SHU and BC on Jan. 18... Jumped a distance of 11.84 on Feb. 6, claiming seventh place.

Outdoor: Took home tenth place in the javelin throw with a distance of 49.12 meters at the Snowflake Invitational on March 26 before being sidelined due to injury.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Attended Westfield High School in Westfield, Mass., where he set the school record in the javelin as a senior and went undefeated for two regular seasons (2004-05)... Captained both the cross country and track teams at Westfield... Was the 2005 PVIAC Javelin Champion... Earned All-League honors his sophomore, junior and senior year, and All-Western Mass. honors as a junior and senior for both cross country and track and field ... Member of 2005 Western Mass. All-Academic Team for track & field and recipient of 2005 McDonald[apos]s McScholar Athlete Award.
