AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06

Indoor: Finished sixth in the 3000 meters at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 10, with a time of 8:52.66 ... Helped BU defeat rival BC with a first place finish in the 800 meters (1:55.11) on Jan. 18, in BU's home opener... Placed fifth in the 1000 meters (2:27.40) at the Terrier Classic on Jan. 27... On Feb. 6, completed the mile in 4:15.17 for the third-place finish... Helped BU to a fourth-place finish in the America East Championships, placing fourth in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:28.90... Also was a member of the 4x800 relay team that placed second (7:40.39)... Placed 11th in the mile (4:15.71) at the New England Championships on Feb. 25.

Outdoor: Was a member of the 4x800 meter relay team that took first place at the America East Championships on May 6-7, with a time of 7:40.11.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Attended Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, N.Y... County champion in the 3000 steeple his freshman and sophomore seasons at Warwick... Outdoor NYSPHAA 800 meters champion and member of the school record holding distance medley relay and 4x800 relay teams as a junior... Placed fourth at the NYSPHAA cross country championships in his senior year... Also crowned indoor NYSPHAA 1000 champion with a school-record time... Received the Orange County Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Award.
