Brett Davidson, senior captain of the men’s track & field and cross country team, has been a team leader and top performer for the Terriers throughout his career.
Entering the 2020 outdoor T&F season, Davidson was focused on competing in the 10,000m run at the PL Outdoor Championship after winning silver in the event during his junior season with a time of 30:59.20.
During the 2019-20 indoor season, the Highland Park, Ill. native took home bronze in the 5,000m run at the PL Indoor Championship with a time of 14:34.13.
During his cross country career, Davidson earned First Team All-Patriot League honors after leading the Terriers to a third-place finish at the 2019 Patriot League Championship (25:37.6) and posted a personal-best 10K time of 29:45.2 at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
“As a team captain, Brett was a true leader both on and off the track,” said director of track & field and cross country Gabe Sanders. “Brett always led by example by being a strong competitor and consistent performer for our team. His passion for running was contagious and he was always willing to do whatever it took to help the team.”
