After posting a combined 3-0 record in singles and doubles action to help the Boston University women’s tennis team claim victories against both Rhode Island (5-2) and Dartmouth (4-3), senior Sabrina Faybyshev has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
On Saturday, Faybyshev first teamed with sophomore Lily Burchell for a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles at Dartmouth and then rallied from a set down to defeat the Big Green, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 at No. 4 singles. Her efforts helped BU rally from a 3-1 deficit and defeat Dartmouth for the first time since 2011. She also claimed a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles against the Rams.
