AUBURN, Ala. - Despite winning three singles matches, the No. 68 Boston University women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 4-3 decision at Auburn on Saturday afternoon. Playing in their fourth straight match on the road, the Terriers drop to 8-5.

The Tigers (3-11) won two of the three doubles matches and then three of the six singles contests to earn the team victory.

Junior Stefanie Nunic and sophomore Vivien Laszloffy had a strong performance as they teamed together for an 8-5 win in the top doubles spot. They then each pulled out second-set tiebreakers in the No. 1 and 2 singles spots, respectively.

Sophomore Jessi Linero added the third point for BU with a two-set win at the No. 6 slot.

The Terriers will next travel to Georgia State on Sunday (March 20). Action will begin at 10 a.m.
