BOSTON - The Boston University men's ice hockey team (7-7-2) will close out the first half of its season on Saturday (Dec. 14) when it hosts Bentley (7-7-1) in the first-ever meeting between the two schools. Game time at Agganis Arena is set for 7 p.m.

In partnership with 98.5 The Sports Hub, the Terriers are helping to collect toys for kids this holiday season. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Agganis Arena Ticket Office, donate it to "Toys for Tots" and get up to 4 tickets for Saturday's game for just $15 each.

This marks BU's 11th regular-season home game of the fall semester, tying the 1984-85 and 2008-09 squads for the most in program history.

The Falcons are 5-0-1 in their last six contests, marking the fourth-longest current unbeaten streak in the country. Last weekend, Bentley swept a two-game home series against Robert Morris by scores of 4-1 and 7-2.

Junior Alex Grieve leads the team in goals (12) and is tied for the lead in points (20) with classmate Steve Weinstein, who has a team-best 19 assists. Weinstein's 20 points are the most of any defenseman in the country and Grieve ranks fourth nationally in goals per game (0.81).

Branden Komm has started all 15 games for the Falcons and boasts a 2.53 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.

Bentley ranks sixth in the nation in power-play percentage at 24.6 and is tied for 10th in penalty kill (85.9).

BU will attempt to go into the semester break with a winning record after taking just one point out of last weekend's home-and-home series against Merrimack. In both games versus the Warriors, half of BU's lineup consisted of freshmen, as the full nine-member rookie class played both nights.

After Saturday's game, sophomores Matt Grzelcyk and Danny O'Regan will head to Minnesota to participate in the U.S. National Junior Team training camp. Both will attempt to earn spots on the final roster that will compete in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Dec. 26, 2013-Jan. 5, 2014, in Malmo, Sweden.

Freshman forward Robbie Baillargeon leads the Terriers in points (13) and plus-minus (+6) and shares the team lead in goals at five with sophomore Danny O'Regan and fellow rookie Nick Roberto. All 13 of Baillargeon's points have come in the last 13 games.
