BOSTON - Riding a two-match win streak, the defending Patriot League champion Boston University women's tennis team will host reigning Northeast Conference champion Bryant on Firday with action slated to begin at 3 p.m.
The Terriers (2-0) blanked both Rhode Island and last year's PL runner-up Navy to open the dual season. Senior Johanna Hyoty was named PL Player of the Week back on Monday for posting wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.
The Bulldogs (0-3) went 9-8 last year and defeated LIU Brooklyn in the NEC title match to reach the NCAAs. This past weekend, they competed at the UConn Invitational and dropped team decisions to Quinnipiac (3-2), UConn (3-2) and Buffalo (5-0).
Following the match, BU will visit No. 70 Yale on Saturday, Feb. 13.
