CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After posting a combined 5-1 record in singles and doubles, Boston University women's tennis sophomore Iryna Kostirko has earned her second consecutive Patriot League Player of the Week award, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Her successful performance helped the Terriers edge both Liberty and Loyola Marymount by identical 4-3 scores.

Kostirko claimed a perfect 3-0 mark in singles with a pair of wins at line 2 against Gonzaga (6-4, 0-6, 6-3) and Liberty (6-4, 6-3). She also rallied from a set down in the No. 3 slot to defeat Loyola Marymount, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles, she teamed with junior Barbara Rodriguez for a 2-1 record at No. 2 with wins over Liberty (6-3) and Loyola Marymount (6-2).
