HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bucknell scored first in the game, taking a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. Maddie Mulford shot a loose ball off of her own blocked shot past Bridget Conway, who was coming out of the net to try and put an end to the action.
- Early in the second half, Kelly Park got a shot off from the right side that went right post, which Bucknell's goalie was able to save but not corral. Erika Kosienski got a shot off the rebound but it was again saved.
- Late in the game, Christina Wakefield found a ball in the middle of the box and had no defenders around her. She had time to line up her shot but it was somehow batted away by the goalie and then kicked clear on what looked like a sure-thing.
- With 11 seconds left in the game, Bucknell's Alexis Gannon got a weak shot off that looked like it would go wide of the post but it caught the beam and knocked in to give the Bison a 2-0 win.
