The Boston University women's ice hockey team will begin a home-and-home series with No. 8 Northeastern on Friday night at Walter Brown Arena, with puck drop set for 7 p.m.
Following Friday's fixture, the two rivals will meet at Matthews Arena on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Friday's contest is part of IIHF World Girls' Hockey Weekend. There will be free admission for anyone in the eighth grade or younger, and the Terriers will also conduct a postgame autograph session.
RECAPPING THE HOME OPENER
- BU dropped a 2-1 decision to the Warriors on Sept. 23.
- Junior Reagan Rust scored her first goal as a Terrier on the power play to give BU a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.
