The Boston University women's ice hockey team will host UConn on Friday night at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Friday is Military Appreciation Night at Walter Brown Arena. Any military member, in addition to Massachusetts fire and police personnel, will receive free admission.
HISTORY WITH THE HUSKIES
- The Terriers are 24-11-4 all-time against the Huskies, including a 13-6-1 record at Walter Brown Arena.
- BU bested the Huskies, 6-2, on Oct. 22 at Walter Brown.
- That win snapped a two-game win streak for UConn over the Terriers.
EARLIER THIS YEAR AGAINST UCONN
- The Terriers picked up their first win of the season on Oct. 22 when they defeated UConn, 6-2, on Oct. 22.
- Senior captain Rebecca Leslie notched her second collegiate hat trick as part of a four-point day.
- Classmate Victoria Bach (1g, 3a) also had four points while another senior, Nina Rodgers, recorded multiple points thanks to a goal and an assist.
- Freshman Nara Elia also lit the lamp.
- In total, 10 Terriers tallied at least one point, with junior Reagan Rust, sophomores Abby Cook and Natasza Tarnowski, freshman Jesse Compher and senior Savannah Newton all tallying one assist apiece.
- Freshman goaltender Corinne Schroeder made her first collegiate start and stopped 26 shots while also assisting on Nara Elia's goal.
- Four of the Terriers' six goals against UConn came on special teams (3 PPG, 1 SHG).
- BU held the Huskies to just four shots on goal in the third period.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- After having the weekend of Oct. 27-29 off, the Huskies hosted RPI on Nov. 3 and 4.
- UConn earned a 4-1 win on Friday before settling for a scoreless draw on Saturday in the series finale.
- Sophomore Briana Colangelo and freshman Natalie Snodgrass each lead UConn in goals (4), assists (5) and points (9) this season.
- Senior Leah Lum also has four goals and is one point behind that duo thanks to four assists.
- Thirteen different Huskies have recorded a point, and all 13 have tallied at least two points.
- Senior goaltender Annie Belanger (3-2-1) started the Oct. 22 game against the Terriers and enters the weekend with a 1.97 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage.
- Sophomore Morgan Fisher has started three games and owns a 1-1-1 record.
- She has posted a 0.99 GAA and .962 save percentage thanks to a shutout in each of her last two starts, including the 0-0 tie on Saturday.
TERRIERS HAVE THE ANSWERS
- BU has been the only team to truly solve UConn's strong defense and goaltending this season.
- The Terriers are the only team this season to score over three goals against UConn, putting six on the board in a 6-2 victory on Oct. 22.
- The Huskies enter the weekend with the fifth-ranked defense in the country, allowing a mere 1.67 goals per game.
- UConn has allowed three goals just one other time this year, a 3-2 loss to St. Cloud State on Sept. 30.
