The Boston University women's ice hockey team will honor its seven-member senior class on Sunday afternoon before the Terriers host Maine in the regular-season finale at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Sunday is also the 10th annual ChiliFest. Fans will be able to enjoy chili from five different dining halls on campus and vote for the winner.

Prior to puck drop, the Terriers will recognize the contributions of seven outstanding student-athletes. Seniors Alexis Crossley, Maddie Elia, Natalie Flynn, Victoria Hanson, Sarah Steele, Samantha Sutherland, as well as graduate student Mary Parker.

BU (16-10-6, 11-8-4 WHEA) earned a crucial two points on Friday night against Northeastern, defeating the Huskies 7-2 thanks to six different goal scorers. That win, coupled with a Vermont loss on Saturday, clinched home ice for the quarterfinals. BU will finish third with a win on Sunday or a loss and a Providence loss. The Terriers will not play another road game until a potential NCAA Tournament tilt since the Hockey East semifinals and championship will be hosted at Walter Brown Arena.

The Terriers split a weekend series at Maine (10-20-1, 6-16-1 WHEA) in November, taking the first game, 5-3, before suffering a 4-1 setback the next day. BU is 25-8-2 all-time against the Black Bears, including a 12-3-0 mark at Walter Brown Arena.

February has been kind to the Terriers so far, as they have gone 3-0-1 so far and done so with plenty of offense. BU has averaged an NCAA-best 5.50 goals per game this month and is also shooting over 18 percent, which is best in the country. The Terrier power play is also clicking at 28.6 percent, fifth-best in the nation during February. That mark was helped by a pair of power-play markers on Friday against Northeastern.

Junior Victoria Bach can add to her terrific stats in league play on Sunday. She is tied for the league lead with 18 goals during Hockey East competition and is likely to win the league's scoring race thanks to 33 conference points. In all games, Bach has notched a league-best 45 points and is first among Hockey East skaters with 24 assists. Parker needs two goals to overtake Northeastern's McKenna Brand for first in the league; Parker enters Sunday with 22 goals, one behind Brand.

Sunday's game is a must-win situation for Maine, which sits one point behind Merrimack for the eighth and final playoff spot. Maine does not own the tiebreaker with Merrimack, so two points is all that can get the Black Bears into next weekend. Freshman Tereza Vanisova leads Maine in goals (16) and is tied for the team lead in points (28) with junior Brooke Stacey. Freshman Carly Jackson will likely get the start between the pipes for Maine. She boasts a .913 save percentage and a 2.76 goals-against average.

BU won't know its quarterfinal opponent until after the completion of Sunday's games, but the best-of-three series will begin Friday night at 7 p.m. Game two will be Saturday at 3, with game three scheduled for Sunday at 3 if necessary.
