ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Competing in its first conference match of the season, the defending Patriot League championship Boston University women's tennis team rallied for a 4-3 victory at runner-up Navy on Friday afternoon.

MATCH NOTES
- Navy jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning all three tightly-contested doubles matches by a combined score of 19-14 with line 2 requiring a tiebreaker.
- Junior Iryna Kostirko started the comeback for the Terriers by dropping just three games at line 1 against 2016 All-PL First Team member Amanda Keller (6-0, 6-3).
- The Terriers claimed three of the remaining five singles points with sophomore Remi Ramos (#3), sophomore Sabrina Faybyshev (#4) and freshman Clara Falxa (#6) all winning in straight sets.
- Navy defeated senior Madison Craft in straight sets at No. 5 and rallied at No. 2 to defeat senior Barbara Rodriguez, 2-6, 6-4, 10-5.
- BU improved to 20-0 against Patriot League opponents since joining the conference in the summer of 2013, but the Mids became the first today to win more than two points against the Terriers.
