BOSTON – Looking to carry momentum from this past weekend's 1-0 shutout victory over Harvard, the Boston University men's soccer team will host another Ivy League member, Princeton, on Tuesday afternoon with action slated to begin at 4 p.m.

The contest will be the first of a BU soccer doubleheader, as the women will face off against Dartmouth at 7 p.m. Fans who check-in at both games will receive double points on the Terrier Fan Zone App.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • Senior Adam Sheikali was named the Patriot League Defender of the Week on Monday afternoon after scoring the Terriers' first goal of the season against Harvard in the 44th minute and helping hold the Crimson to just six shot attempts ... The award marked the first for Sheikali, who last scored in a 3-0 win over Albany on Oct. 20, 2015.
  • The Terriers are 1-1 this season at Nickerson Field with an earlier loss to Boston College after claiming a 7-2-1 home record last season.
  • Sophomore Satchel Cortet tallied his first-career point against the Crimson by curling a long free kick into the box to set up Sheikali's goal.
  • Making his fourth consecutive start, freshman goalkeeper William Bonnelyche finished with two saves against Harvard for his first career shutout ... He currently owns a 1.50 goals against average and 0.625 save percentage.
  • Despite owning a 27-9 advantage in corner kicks, the Terriers are slightly being edged in shots, 60-59.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
  • The Tigers opened with an impressive 1-1 draw at then-No. 8 Syracuse but since then have dropped three straight, including a 1-0 decision at Patriot League member Colgate ... Princeton lost the last two games at home to Seton Hall (4-3 OT) and SIU Edwardsville (1-0).
  • Princeton went 7-7-3 last season with a 4-4-1 mark on the road.
  • Despite averaging an equal amount of shot attempts as opponents at 13.8 per game, Princeton has been outscored, 7-4, this season.
  • James Reiner scored both of his team-high two goals against Seton Hall ... Jeremy Colvin is second on the team with three points off a goal and assist.
  • Jacob Schachner has played every second at net and owns a 1.60 goals against average and 0.696 save percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
  • BU and Princeton are meeting for the fourth consecutive year with the Tigers owning a 2-0-1 record.
  • Princeton won the last two contests at home, 2-1, after rallying for a 2-2 draw at Nickerson Field in 2014.
  • The Terriers out shot Princeton, 15-6, last year and owned a 6-1 advantage in corners, but the Tigers responded to BU's 32nd-minute goal with scores at 34:30 and 55:18.
