Women's Soccer Hosts Dartmouth Tuesday Night

BOSTON - Breaking from Patriot League play, the Boston University women's soccer team will welcome Dartmouth for the nightcap of a doubleheader with the men's team on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

The men's team will start the day with a 4 p.m. contest against Princeton before the women's squad has its turn on Nickerson Field at 7 p.m. against the Big Green.

  • Erin Neville leads the team in assists (3), and is tied with Jesse Shreck for third on the team with three points.
Rookie Report
  • Anna Heilferty ranks second on the team in goals (2) and points (4). 
  • Amanda Fay picked up her first career shutout in net on Saturday. The freshman has started the last two games in net for the Terriers.
Patriot League Dominance
  • Since joining the Patriot League in 2013, the Terriers have dominated, posting a 32-3-2 record with four regular season championships and three tournament titles.
  • The Terriers have posted at least five clean sheets in each of its first four seasons in the Patriot League, and have amassed 39 league shutouts.
Home Sweet Home
  • The Terriers have dominated on their home turf, posting a 167-37-19 all-time record.
Scouting The Big Green
  • Dartmouth enters Tuesday's contest with a 4-3 record after falling 3-1 to Northeastern on Friday.

  • Remy Borinsky leads Dartmouth with four goals, while Bianca Ribi follows with three. 
The Series
  • Though the series is split at 7-7-5, BU has had the upper hand recently, winning four of the last six matchups.
  • BU and Dartmouth played each other every year from 1997-2014. Tuesday's matchup will resume a two-year hiatus.
