BOSTON – Concluding a three-game road trip, the Boston University men's soccer team will visit Patriot League foe Lehigh on Saturday night with action slated to begin at 6 p.m.
The Terriers opened conference play with a 2-0 win at American last weekend but had their three-game unbeaten streak snapped on Tuesday at Brown (2-1). The Mountain Hawks are the PL's hottest team, having won their last five contests by a combined score of 11-3.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU will be playing in its 10th game of the season with seven of the contests taking place on the road ... The Terriers are 1-1-1 at home compared to the 1-5-0 road mark.
- On Tuesday, freshman Toti Knutsson became the fifth Terrier to score a goal this season, after he converted on a penalty kick ... BU is 2-1-1 this when finding the back of the net at least once.
- Senior Adam Sheikali owns the team lead with three points (1g,1a), while sophomore Satchel Cortet has two assists.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Michael Bernardi has made four starts this season, including the last two, and owns a .680 save percentage and 2.14 goals against average with a shutout against American.
- Opponents own a slight advantage in shots per game, 10.2 - 10.1, with BU nearly doubling them in corner kicks, 34-19.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
- The Mountain Hawks are 4-1-0 at home this season after posting a 3-4-1 mark last season with the lone loss against George Washington (1-0).
- Lehigh will wrap up its four-game homestand against BU after posting wins against St. John's (2-1), Army West Point (1-0) and Seton Hall (3-1).
- Mark Forrest ranks fifth nationally in points per game (2.00) with the help of six goals and four assists with Doyle Tuvesson (2g,5a) ranking ninth in assists per game at 0.71.
