The Boston University women's ice hockey team will head to Storrs, Connecticut, on Sunday to face UConn. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m.

LAST TIME AGAINST UCONN

  • Senior captain Rebecca Leslie lit the lamp with 49.6 seconds remaining in regulation to secure a 2-2 tie with the Huskies on Nov. 10 at Walter Brown Arena.
  • Senior Victoria Bach and redshirt sophomore Abbey Stanley assisted on Leslie's game-tying goal.
  • Sophomore Natasza Tarnowski gave BU a 1-0 lead with less than 30 seconds to play in the first period, but UConn answered with the next two goals, including a power-play tally at 7:53 of the third period.
  • Sophomore Abby Cook and freshman Jesse Compher both assisted on Tarnowski's strike.
  • Freshman Corinne Schroeder made 23 saves.

HISTORY WITH THE HUSKIES

  • The Terriers are 24-11-5 all-time against the Huskies, including an 10-5-3 record at Freitas Ice Forum.
  • BU has lost to UConn just three times over the last nine seasons, with only one of those defeats being by two goals or more. 

BEST OF BU AGAINST UCONN

  • Victoria Bach leads the Terriers with 15 points against the Huskies thanks to a team-high seven goals and eight assists.
  • Rebecca Leslie has recorded nine points thanks to four goals and five assists.
  • Bach and Leslie have been particularly dominant against UConn this season, with Leslie notching four goals and one assist while Bach has tallied four assists in addition to one goal.
  • Nina Rodgers (2g, 2a) also has multiple goals and assists against UConn.
  • The defensive pairing of Abby Cook (3a) and Savannah Newton (2a) has combined for five career assists against the Huskies.
  • Nara Elia, Jesse Compher, Reagan Rust and Corinne Schroeder all recorded a point in their first-ever game against UConn on Oct. 22, with Compher adding an assist on Nov. 10.
  • Schroeder has started both games against the Huskies this year, posting a 1.93 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage.

  • UConn dropped a 5-3 decision at Northeastern on Friday night.
  • The Huskies earned their only league win on Jan. 13 at New Hampshire.
  • Freshman Natalie Snodgrass leads the Huskies in goals (14) and points (25).
  • She is also tied with sophomore Briana Colangelo and senior Leah Lum for the team lead lead in assists with 11.
  • Sophomore Morgan Fisher started Friday's game at Northeastern, allowing more than three goals for the first time this season.
  • In eight starts, Fisher has posted a 1.96 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage with two shutouts.
  • Senior Annie Belanger is 5-8-4 with a 2.26 GAA and a .923 save percentage.
  • Belanger started both games against BU earlier this season.
