The Boston University women's ice hockey team will host Vermont for a pair of games at Walter Brown Arena. Friday's contest is slated for 7 p.m., while Saturday's tilt is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Fans at both games will have an opportunity to win Under Armour gear.
BEGINNING OF A BUSY STRETCH
- This weekend is the start of a stretch of three games in five days for the Terriers.
- Following this weekend's pair of games, BU will travel to Boston College on Tuesday.
- The Terriers will have a similar string of games later this month when they play three more games in five days.
HOME SWEET HOME
- Friday will be the first time since Oct. 20 that the Terriers will play a home game.
- BU is 1-2-2 at Walter Brown Arena this year.
- The Terriers will have three straight road games following this weekend.

NOVEMBER HAS BEEN GOOD
- BU is off to another strong start in November after a 4-1 win at UConn on Nov. 9.
- The Terriers went 5-2-1 in November last year, which followed a 6-2 November in 2016.
- They are 19-7-1 in November since Nov. 1, 2015.
HISTORY WITH VERMONT
- BU is 30-8-6 all-time against the Catamounts, including a 17-3-4 record at Walter Brown.
- Only two of those three home losses have come in the regular season, though one was last year.
- BU has recorded at least one point against Vermont in all 13 seasons.
CATCHING UP WITH THE CATAMOUNTS
- Vermont is 1-5-1 in its last seven games, including a 2-0 home loss to Providence on Sunday.
- Junior Eve-Audrey Picard leads the team in goals (3) and points (6).
- Freshman defender Maude Poulin-Labelle leads with four assists, followed by three players with three assists apiece, including Picard.
- Senior goaltender Melissa Black has started all eight games in which she has appeared, posting a 2.16 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
- Freshman netminder Blanka Skodova is 1-1-1 in three starts with one shutout.
FUN FRIDAY AT UCONN
- The Terriers earned a 4-1 road win at UConn on Nov. 9.
- Sophomore Jesse Compher and redshirt junior Sammy Davis each tallied two goals and one assist.
- One of Compher's two goals on Friday came shorthanded.
- Redshirt junior Abbey Stanley added two assists.
- Juniors Abby Cook and Breanna Scarpaci each had one assist.
- Sophomore Corinne Schroeder made 30 saves and stopped all 11 shots she saw in the third period.
COMPHER COLLECTING POINTS
- Sophomore Jesse Compher leads BU with seven assists and 11 points after she extended her point streak to five games in impressive fashion at UConn.
- Compher matched her career highs with two goals and three points in the 4-1 win against the Huskies.
- She has notched three goals and added six assists for nine points over the last five games.
- She has factored on nine of the Terriers' last 10 goals (3g, 6a).
- Compher is a plus-8 this season, including a plus-4 rating at UConn.
DAVIS DYNAMITE AT UCONN
- Redshirt junior tri-captain Sammy Davis was outstanding in the Terriers' 4-1 win at UConn on Friday.
- Her unassisted goal in the second period, just 47 seconds after UConn tied the game, proved to be the eventual game-winner.
- Davis also provided the primary helper on Jesse Compher's shorthanded goal in the third period before notching an empty-net goal to finish the night as a plus-4.
- Friday was Davis' first three-point game since Oct. 7, 2016.
- She enters this weekend with a team-high six goals as well as two assists for eight points, which is second on BU.
SCHROEDER SHARP SINCE THE OPENER
- Sophomore Corinne Schroeder has bounced back nicely from a 5-0 loss to Northeastern in the season opener on Oct. 5.
- Schroeder has posted a 1.78 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage in her last six starts.
- She has only allowed five even-strength goals over her last five starts.
- Schroeder has posted a minuscule 1.18 goals-against average at even strength over the last five games.
