EYE ON THE EAGLES

  • BC is 10-1-0 since being swept at Minnesota Duluth to open the season.
  • The Eagles outscored UConn, 7-0, in a home-and-home sweep this past weekend, with freshman Maddy McArthur combining for 33 saves in the two wins.
  • McArthur has started all 13 games for BC, posting a .948 save percentage and a 1.16 goals-against average.
  • Four Eagles are tied for the team lead with 14 points, including top goal-scorer Daryl Watts (8g, 6a) and top assist-getter Makenna Newkirk (4g, 10a).
  • Junior Caitrin Lonergan and senior Megan Keller both have six goals and eight assists apiece.
LOTS OF GOOD GOALTENDING ON COMM AVE LATELY
  • Sophomore Corinne Schroeder was named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week on Monday while BC netminder Maddy McArthur was tabbed as the league's Rookie of the Week.
  • Schroeder made 26 saves on Friday in a 3-0 win over Vermont for her first collegiate shutout.
  • McArthur held UConn scoreless in a pair of victories over the Huskies this past weekend.
  • In the last three games, both goaltenders have held opponents to an average of 1.33 goals per game.

COMPHER COLLECTING POINTS

  • Sophomore Jesse Compher leads BU with 10 assists and 16 points after she extended her point streak to even games with three points on Saturday
  • It was her third straight multi-point effort, as Compher notched a goal and an assist in Friday's 3-0 win.
  • She also matched her career highs with two goals and three points in the 4-1 win at UConn on Nov. 9.
  • She has notched five goals and added nine assists for 14 points over the last seven games.
  • She has factored on 14 of the Terriers' last 16 goals (5g, 9a).
  • Compher is a plus-12 this season, including a plus-8 rating over the last three tilts.
  • The Northbrook, Illinois, native has recorded at least two points in five of the Terriers' 10 games this year.

PARKER PICKS UP FIRST TWO GOALS

  • Freshman Mackenna Parker notched her first collegiate goal on Friday night and followed that with a shorthanded goal on Saturday.
  • She struck in the second stanza of Friday's 3-0 win when she skated to the front of the net and finished off a pass from Jesse Compher.
  • Parker then tallied a tremendous shorthanded goal to tie the game at 1-1 on Saturday when she picked up a loose puck off a defensive-zone draw and raced past two defenders before roofing a shot over the goaltender's glove.
  • Parker, who has played the last three games on the top line, notched a career-high two points on Saturday thanks to an assist.
  • She enters Tuesday with four points (2g, 2a) and is a plus-3 in her last three games.

SHORTHANDED? NO PROBLEM.

  • Sophomore Jesse Compher is tied for first in the country with two shorthanded goals and leads the NCAA with three shorthanded points.
  • Compher, who recorded a shorthanded strike at UConn on Nov. 9 and against New Hampshire on Oct. 13, had the primary assist on Mackenna Parker's shorthanded goal on Saturday.
  • She is also one of four players in the nation to have a shorthanded game-winning goal.
  • Thanks to Parker's shorthanded marker on Saturday, the Terriers are now tied for the NCAA lead with three such goals.
