TALKING ABOUT TUESDAY

COMPHER COLLECTING POINTS

  • Sophomore Jesse Compher leads BU with 12 assists and 19 points after she extended her point streak to nine games on Tuesday night at Brown.
  • It was her first single-point effort after four straight multi-point games.
  • Compher has notched six goals and added 11 assists for 17 points over the last nine games.
  • She owns the longest active assist streak in the nation as well as the third longest active point streak in the NCAA.
  • Compher is a plus-14 this season, including a plus-11 rating over the last six tilts.
  • The Northbrook, Illinois, native has recorded at least two points in six of the Terriers' 12 games this year.

DAVIS DYNAMITE LATELY

  • Redshirt junior tri-captain Sammy Davis has been outstanding over the last five games.
  • She has notched 10 points (4g, 6a) in that stretch, including a goal and an assist on Tuesday at Brown.
  • That streak began on Nov. 9 at UConn when she tallied two goals and one assist, including the unassisted game-winner just 47 seconds after UConn tied the game.
  • That was Davis' first three-point game since Oct. 7, 2016.
  • Davis then tallied three points (1g, 2a) over the weekend of Nov. 16-17 against Vermont, including a third-period goal on Nov. 17 that broke a 2-2 tie and nearly proved to be the winner.
  • The tri-captain leads the Terriers with eight goals and is second on the squad with 15 points.

PARKER PICKING UP THE PACE

  • Freshman Mackenna Parker has been on a roll ever since she joined the top line with sophomore Jesse Compher and redshirt junior Sammy Davis.

ELECTRIC ELIA
  • Sophomore Nara Elia has recorded four points over the last two games.
  • Elia notched a goal and added an assist in the Terriers' 5-2 win over Brown on Tuesday.
  • Her third-period strike made it 4-2.
  • She also collected the primary helper on Connor Galway's opening goal.
  • That performance came after she collected a career-high two assists at Boston College on Nov. 20.
  • She had the primary helper on Jesse Compher's goal that opened the scoring for BU in the first period.
  • She also assisted on Abby Cook's power-play goal in the third period.
  • Tuesday was Elia's fourth two-point game of her career.
  • Elia has factored on both of the Terriers' power-play goals this season.
  • She enters Friday with six points on three goals and three assists.
