ALLSTON, Mass. – The Boston University women's tennis team wrapped up the fall schedule over the weekend at the Harvard Invitational with freshman Shelly Yaloz posting a combined four victories.

Yaloz rallied from a set down to defeat Syracuse's Dina Hegab, 6-7(5), 6-4 10-7 and then dropped just three games to Cornell's Maria Adiaconitei (6-2, 6-1). Looking for a sweep, she came up just short to Harvard's Erica Oosterhout, 7-6(4), 6-1. In doubles, she teamed with sophomore Emily Kim for wins over Syracuse and Harvard with the lone loss coming against Cornell in a tiebreaker.

Kim was one of three other Terriers alongside senior Sabrina Faybyshev and sophomore Lily Burchell to earn one singles win.

BU will next open the dual season on Sunday, Jan. 20 against Dartmouth at the Winchester (Mass.) Indoor Tennis Club.
