PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Facing its fourth Ivy League opponent of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Brown on Saturday. BU earned the first point thanks to a pair of wins at doubles before the Bears claimed all six singles points in straight sets.

- A year after being blanked by Brown, the Terriers opened the match by capturing the doubles point.
- Iryna Kostirko and Emily Kim earned a 6-4 victory at No. 2.
- Lily Burchell and Remi Ramos won a tiebreaker, 10-8, to claim a 7-6 victory at line 1 and clinch the first point of the day.
- Ramos then won a team-high combined eight games at No. 2 singles for a tightly-contested, 6-4, 6-4 loss.
- Katya Martens put up a strong showing in the first set at line five, but ultimately fell, 7-5, 6-2.
