BOSTON – Following a week-long trip to California, the Boston University women's tennis team returns to the Track & Tennis Center to host Binghamton on Sunday with a 12 p.m. start time.
The Terriers are 3-0 at home this season with wins over Liberty (5-2), Bryant (7-0) and Holy Cross (7-0).
Junior Remi Ramos leads the Terriers with seven singles wins during the dual season and is the reigning Patriot League Player of the Week. Freshman Katya Martens owns six victories, while both senior Iryna Kostirko and freshman Lily Burchell own five wins apiece.
In doubles, Burchell and Ramos are 7-5 at line 1, while Martens and freshman Dani Blaser have combined for a 5-3 mark at line 3.
The Bearcats are 1-8 this season with a 6-1 win over Sacred Heart. They have lost their last five to Buffalo, Cornell, Drexel, NJIT and Quinnipiac by a combined score of 31-4. Binghamton has previously faced one PL opponent, falling at Army (4-1) back on Feb. 2.
