BOSTON – Following an eight-match road trip, the Boston University women's tennis team is back home to host Bryant on Friday with a 3 p.m. start time at the Track & Tennis Center.

Last weekend, the Terriers opened conference play with a 6-1 victory over Lehigh in Connecticut before dropping a 5-2 decision at Yale. BU is 3-0 at home this season with wins over Providence, Rhode Island and Binghamton by a combined score of 17-4.

Freshman and reigning Patriot League Player of the Week Shelly Yaloz leads BU with 14 singles wins, one ahead of sophomore Lily Burchell. Senior Remi Ramos currently owns 51 career singles wins and 44 doubles wins, leaving her five shy of the 100-win milestone.

Bryant is on a four-match win streak, having claimed wins over Providence, Monmouth, St. Francis Brooklyn and Sacred Heart by a combined score of 26-2. The Bulldogs last fell to Hofstra, 4-3, on Feb. 24.

The Terriers won last year's meeting, 7-0, at home.
