BOSTON – Riding a four-game unbeaten streak with two contests left in the regular season, the Boston University men's soccer team will visit Patriot League rival Lehigh on Saturday night for a 6 p.m. start time.

The Terriers are currently tied for eighth in the conference standings at eight points alongside Bucknell with Lafayette occupying the sixth and final available PL tournament slot at 10 points. Lehigh sits in seventh place at nine points, while both Navy and Army West Point are tied for fourth at 12 points. 

TERRIER TIDBITS

• BU is 2-0-2 over the last four games with both wins coming at home and both ties occurring on the road.
• The Terriers followed up on a 1-1 draw at American with wins over Colgate (2-0) and Northeastern (3-1) before leaving Bucknell with a 0-0 draw.
• Junior Ronaldo Marshall owns a team-high 10 points off four goals and two assists.
• Freshman Brian Hernandez is the other Terrier with multiple goals (2) and assists (2) this season for six points.
• Reigning PL Goalkeeper of the Week and junior Francesco Montali stopped nine of 10 shots last week and now owns a .724 save percentage and 1.40 goals against average with three solo shutouts.

SCOUTING LEHIGH

• The Mountain Hawks rebounded from a 2-0 home loss to Princeton with a 3-2 OT win at Navy last Saturday to move past both BU and Bucknell in the PL standings.
• Lehigh started the year 0-8-1 but has gone 3-2-2 since with a 2-1 home victory over Army, 2-0 home win against Lafayette and 1-1 home draw vs. then-No. 4 West Virginia.
• Jack Sarkops leads Lehigh with 11 points off five goals and an assist, while Josh Luchini has 10 points off three goals and four helpers.
• Blake Koski has started eight of the 15 games, posting a .740 save percentage and 1.40 goals against average.
• Overall, opponents are averaging 3.8 more shots per game and own an 88-72 advantage in corners.

SERIES HISTORY

• The series is tied, 4-4-0, after Lehigh earned a 4-2 home win in 2019 and 2-1 overtime victory at BU in 2018.
• Two years ago, the Terriers owned a 2-1 halftime lead, but Josh Luchini tallied two late goals in the second half to claim a hat trick.
• The Terriers last prevailed on the road, 2-0, in 2017.
