BOSTON – After honoring senior Gianluca Arlotti, senior Liam Cullen and graduate student Evan Morrison, the Boston University men's soccer team will wrap up the home slate against Patriot League rival Lehigh on Saturday night with action slated to begin at 6 p.m.

Both squads will be battling hard for points, as only six of the 10 PL schools will advance to the conference tournament. The Terriers are still alive for their first regular season title since 2014 with 12 points (four behind Army) and just two games remaining but could also miss the tournament. The standings are packed, as evidenced by No. 8 Lehigh only being four points behind with eight total.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is on a six-game conference unbeaten streak, having won the last three contests against American, Loyola Maryland and Bucknell via shutout following ties to Navy, Army and Lafayette.
  • The Terriers are 3-1-4 at home following last Sunday's 1-0 win that snapped the Eagles' seven-game unbeaten streak.
  • Senior Colin Innes (4g) and classmate Quinn Matulis (2g,4a) both own eight points with junior Andrew Rent (1g,3a) in third at five.
  • Senior Griffin Roach has earned the last two PL Defender of the Week honors. The Terriers have not allowed a goal in 370 minutes with him on the field since Navy scored back on Oct. 1.
  • Senior Francesco Montali has started 13 contests and posted a .837 save percentage alongside a 0.62 goals against average with seven shutouts.
  • Opponents are averaging just 0.7 more shots per game with a 77-66 advantage in corner kicks.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
  • The Mountain Hawks are 1-7-0 on the road compared to their 2-1-3 home mark with a 1-0 win at Lafayette. Their two home wins came against American (4-0) and Delaware (1-0) back in September.
  • Jack Sarkos leads Lehigh with eight goals and 18 points. Both Yoni Aidlberg and Jason Pynadath own a team-high three assists apiece with one goal.
  • Ryan Gross has started eight games, posting a .767 save percentage and 1.33 goals against average, while Tommy Chyzowych has a .711 save percentage and 2.00 GAA in six starts.
  • Opponents are averaging 5.5 more shots per game despite only earning five more corner kicks (68-63).

  • The Mountain Hawks have scored nine combined goals in the last two games after totaling seven in the first seven contests.
  • Lehigh hosted each of the last two meetings, posting a 5-3 win last season after recording a 4-2 home victory.
  • Each of the last two home games have gone to OT with Lehigh winning, 2-1, in 2018 and 3-2 in 2015 after BU prevailed in 2013, 1-0.
  • The Terriers last won in 2017 on the road, 2-0.
