MIAMI, Fla. – Continuing its Florida trip, the Boston University women's tennis team rolled to a 6-1 win over Duquesne on Wednesday afternoon.
The Terriers (4-5) swept through doubles for the first point and then captured five six singles points, including three in straight sets, to defeat the Dukes (4-6).

Erica Di Battista started off with a dominating 6-0 win in the top doubles slot. Sophomore
Victoria Carlsten and freshman
Michelle Kleynerman posted a 6-3 win at line 2, while freshmen
Nina Gulbransen and
Sydney Sharma won by an identical score at line 3.
Kleynerman cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Carlsten claimed a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the top match. Senior
Shelly Yaloz was the third Terrier to win in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-4 win at line 4.
Di Battista (#3) and Kim (#6) both won in three sets for BU's final two points. Sharma rallied to force a force a third set super tiebreaker but came up just short to Duquesne, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0(8).
