BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer program reignites the Battle of Comm. Ave with Boston College on Sunday (Sept. 4), welcoming the Eagles to Nickerson Field as part of Terrier Tailgate. Opening kick is slated for 4 p.m.
BU hosts its fourth home contest in six games, the final match before the Terriers hit the road for four consecutive road bouts. For Boston College, Sunday will mark its sixth-straight game in the state of Massachusetts, its final one in that stretch.
Terrier Tailgate opens with the tailgate at 3 p.m., located in the concourse in front of Nickerson Field. Admission to the tailgate and the game are free.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- In its last matchup, BU dropped a 1-0 road tilt at Yale on Thursday (Sept. 1).
- The Terriers outshot the Bulldogs 6-3 and generated four corner kicks to Yale's two, but Alanna Butcher's goal in the 21st minute made the difference.
- BU has outshot its foes in three of its first five games, a 54-46 difference in that category.
- The Terriers have registered more corner kicks than their opponents in each game as well, compiling a 34-12 edge.

- Sunday marks the 27th all-time meeting between BU and Boston College in a series that began in 1996.
