BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer team takes on defending Patriot League champion Bucknell this Saturday (Oct. 14). Opening kick is set for 1 p.m. in Lewisburg, Pa.
BU (6-5-3, 3-2-1 PL) takes part in its penultimate road Patriot League match in 2023. The Terriers are unbeaten (1-0-2) in their last three road games, dating back to Sept. 3.
Bucknell (8-3-3, 3-1-2 PL) rides a three-game unbeaten streak (2-0-1) into the matchup. The Bison have lost just once since the beginning of September.
Saturday will mark the rematch of last seasons' Patriot League semifinal contest. Bucknell defeated the Terriers on penalty kicks to advance to the championship game, and eventually the league title.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers recently sustained a 1-0 loss against Holy Cross on Wednesday (Oct. 11).
- Despite recording nine shots on target, BU was shut out for just the fifth time all season.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL
- Bucknell is 8-3-3 overall on the season, most recently upending first-place Loyola Maryland 1-0 on Oct. 11.
- The Bison are 6-0-1 at home this season, with a goal differential of 18-5.
- Junior Teresa Deda and sophomore Henna Andican lead the Bison with 14 points each. Deda sports six assists, while Andican has scored five times.
- Jenna Hall has played every minute in goal to this point to the tune of a 1.07 goals-against average and .845 save percentage.
- Bucknell was projected to repeat as Patriot League champions in the preseason poll, garnering seven first-place votes.
- The Bison were 5-1-3 last year against Patriot League foes, going 8-6-6 overall. Bucknell defeated Army in penalty kicks in the Patriot League Championship and fell to Ohio State 1-0 in the NCAA Tournament.
