AMESBURY, Mass. – Senior Andi Calderone of the Boston University women's ice hockey team was named the Army ROTC Defender of the Week, the Hockey East announced Monday.
 
Calderone had a career game against UNH in BU's 5-3 win on Saturday, scoring two goals on the power play and adding an assist for three points. Her goals were back-to-back for the Terriers' third and fourth goals of the game, the fourth of which being the game-winning goal.
 
The Kirkland, Que., native leads BU in power play goals with two and has four goals to her name this season, a career high. She also blocked two shots over the weekend. The honor is the first of her career.
 
Calderone and BU will compete at Harvard on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
