BOSTON – Fresh off securing the program's first Patriot League regular season championship, the Boston University women's basketball team welcomes Army West Point to Terrier Town for its regular season home finale on Wednesday (Feb. 22). Opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
BU, putting its 15-game winning streak on the line, aims to match its program record for conference wins in a season with 16, currently held by the 2008-09 squad. With a win, the Terriers would become the ninth Patriot League team since the conference expanded to 10 teams ahead of 2013-14 to record 16 league victories.
Army West Point enters the week in a three-way tie with Holy Cross and Lehigh for second place in the standings with a 10-5 record. The Black Knights will play the Crusaders and Mountain Hawks following Wednesday's game, having beaten Holy Cross but fallen to Lehigh previously this season.
Wednesday is BU's Play4Kay Game. The student-athletes will don pink warm-up shirts and sneakers ahead of the contest. For more information on Play4Kay,
