The No. 3 Boston University men's ice hockey team will go for a record 32nd Beanpot title when the Terriers face Northeastern in the championship game of the 71st Dunkin' Men's Beanpot on Monday night at TD Garden. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

BEANPOT NOTES
- The Terriers have won nearly half (31) of the previous 70 Beanpot tournaments.
- After winning the Beanpot just once in the '50s, BU has won it 30 times in the last 58 years, including 14 of the past 29.Â
- The second-most successful school in the tournament is BC, which has won the coveted trophy 20 times, followed by Harvard (11) and defending champion Northeastern (8).
- The Terriers are 94-47 (.667) all-time in the Beanpot.
- They are 34-12 (.739) versus Northeastern, including a 10-5 record against Northeastern in the title game.
- BU has advanced to the championship game 56 times, including seven of the last nine tournaments, its best stretch since a 13-year run from 1995-2007.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU has won three straight games, including a 7-1 victory over Merrimack on Friday night at Agganis.
- The Terriers haven't trailed in any of those three victories.
- Freshman Macklin Celebrini has totaled two points in each of the last four tilts as part of his five-game point streak, including a goal and an assist on Friday.
- He is second overall and second among rookies with 1.64 points per game and has tallied 41 points (22g, 19a) in 25 games, which is second in Hockey East, second among national rookies and fourth overall in the country.Â
- Sophomore Lane Hutson is first among the nation's blue liners with 1.40 points per game and 35 overall points, tied for second among all NCAA defensemen with 10 goals.
- Sophomore Ryan Greene scored the game-winner last Monday against BC and has recorded nine points (2g, 7a) in his last eight games.
- Freshman Jack Harvey scored his first two collegiate goals just 27 seconds apart against Merrimack.
- BU has scored three or more goals in all but one game since its 4-1 win over Merrimack on Dec. 1, averaging 4.3Â goals per game in that span.

SERIES HISTORY
- This will be the 251st meeting between the Terriers and Huskies since they first met during the 1930-31 season.Â
- The only team BU has played more games against is Boston College (294).
- BU holds a 170-68-12 (.704) advantage over the Huskies, including a 15-6-0 record at TD Garden (officially 15-5-1, the Huskies won the 2020 title in double overtime after the game had officially been declared a tie).

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- Northeastern hasn't played since defeating Harvard, 3-2, in overtime last Monday in the other Beanpot semifinal.
- Senior Gunnarwolfe Fontaine scored the winner against the Crimson.
- Senior Alex Campbell scored his team-leading 15th goal of the year against Harvard while sophomore Vinny Borgesi moved to first on the squad with 21 assists thanks to his helpers on the equalizer and the game-winner.
- Junior Justin Hryckowian has recorded back-to-back one-goal, two-assist efforts as part of his five-game point streak.
- Freshman Cameron Whitehead has started all 25 games in which he has appeared, posting a 2.68 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.
