Michelle Kleynerman and Bakaityte teamed at the No. 2 doubles spot and picked up a dominant 6-1 win over their Harvard foes. Despite the win at line two, Harvard took the doubles point.
In singles, Bakaityte was the only Terrier to win a set in the match. The freshman played at the No. 4 spot and won her first set in an impressive 6-1 decision. Her Harvard opponent took the second set and the match went unfinished in the third. Also playing a close match was sophomore
Emily Zhao who went to a first set tiebreak but fell 7-6 (4). Zhao's match also went unfinished.
BU will continue its slate against Ivy League opponents when it welcomes Brown to the Manchester Athletic Club on Sunday. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
