BOSTON – Back home after earning a 2-2 draw at Patriot League preseason favorite Loyola Maryland over the weekend, the Boston University men's soccer team will return to non-conference play by hosting ACC rival Boston College on Tuesday night with a 6 p.m. start time.
As part of the program's Team IMPACT night, the Terriers will have longtime teammate,
Pierce Sabin, serve as an honorary team captain.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is 1-1-2 at home, most recently posting a 3-2 victory against Army after opening the season with a 0-0 draw vs. then-No. 9 New Hampshire.
- Nine Terriers have scored at least goal through eight games after 10 found the back of the net over 20 games last fall.
- Sophomore Andrea Di Blasio leads BU with two goals thanks to his brace against the Black Knights back on Sept. 14.
- Senior Daniel Kim is tied with Di Blasio at four points (1g,2a) after assisting on freshman Markus Ramsey's goal at Brown last Tuesday.
- Junior Damola Salami netted his first BU goal in Saturday's 2-2 tie at Loyola Maryland while increasing his shot total to a team-high 12 attempts.

- Both junior Ben Alexander and graduate student Andrew Wike have started four games apiece at net, combining for a .689 save percentage and 1.75 goals against average.
- Opponents are averaging 3.5 more shots per game (10.8-7.3) with a 43-18 advantage in corner kicks.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
- The Eagles remain on the road following last Friday's 2-0 loss at then-No. 2 Pittsburgh. The other loss came at home against No. 5 Clemson (1-0).
- BC owns wins over Siena, Dartmouth and Merrimack by a combined score of 6-2 with ties to both then-No. 20 Syracuse (1-1), Providence (1-1) and Iona (2-2).
- Ask Ekeland owns a team-high five goals and 10 points, while Marco Dos Santos has five points off two goals and an assist.
- Brennan Klein has played every minute at net, earning a .710 save percentage and 1.13 goals against average.
- The Eagles are averaging 2.1 more shots per game (13.4-11.3) with opponents owning a 41-37 advantage in corner kicks.
SERIES HISTORY
- BC leads the all-time series, 29-18-11, after the teams recorded back-to-back draws over the last two years.
