SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Boston University women's tennis team earned a 6-1 win on the road at Bryant on Sunday.
BU won on all three doubles courts, starting with freshman
Madison Liu and sophomore
Blanka DeMicheli, who won 6-1 at the No. 2 spot. Sophomore

Gabriella Mikaul clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at the top of the lineup. Senior

Emily Zhao also won their doubles match at line three, 6-3.
The Terriers quickly gained a 3-0 lead with two efficient singles wins. Zhao took down her opponent 6-2, 6-1 at line four while DeMicheli posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at line three. Bryant claimed a point at the No. 2 spot next, but BU sealed its victory soon after. Mikaul clinched the Terriers' first win of the season with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at the top of the lineup.
Junior
Rhea Rai earned BU's next point with a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (7) win at the No. 6 spot, while Gulbransen secured the sixth and final point of the day with a 6-4, 7-6 (4) victory at the No. 5 spot.
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 1) when they travel to Yale for a match at 1 p.m.
