Women’s Tennis Falls to Yale, 6-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Boston University women's tennis team fell to Yale, 6-1, on the road on Saturday afternoon.
 
In doubles, sophomore Uma Bakaityte and freshman Gabriella Mikaul picked up a win in the No. 1 spot. The pair took down their Yale foes 6-3 for BU's sole doubles win.
 
In singles, Bakaityte also won at line one. She defeated her Yale competitor in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to win BU's lone point in the match.
 
The Terriers will play again on Sunday (Feb. 2) when they face Haravard at noon.
