On September 29, BU student-athletes hosted over 240 local youths at the men's soccer game at Nickerson Field. The group included many Boston area organizations including the Jackson Mann Community Center and the Brighton Surf Sharks Youth Soccer Teams. Kids helped make signs with BU student-athletes before the game, cheered on the BU Terriers in their 1-1 draw against Hartford, were given autographed posters by the men's soccer team and were treated to pizza after the game. In addition, the Brookline U9 soccer travel team joined the Terriers on the filed before the game for the national anthem.
